Sportstiks Brentwood Half Marathon

Sportstiks has been a title sponsor of the Brentwood Half Marathon since 2018

Last weekend was the Sportstiks Brentwood Half Marathon! It is a local community event that over 41 years has raised almost £4 million for charity. The Brentwood a Becket Rotary Club has been running this event every years since 1982. In 2022 it expanded the organising team by bringing in local charities Saint Francis Hospice and Brentwood Theatre as well as local running club Brentwood Running Club.

As title sponsors we support the event with a financial donation and produce the printed products, such as banners and race bibs. On the day we always have a team of employees that either run or volunteer as marshalls to hand out water and sweets at the finish line and apply tattoos.

It was a great day full of smiles and PBs and we are extremely proud to be title sponsors for the 5th year.

PACER TEAM

Another way that we support the event is by organising a team of pacers. This year we had 11 experienced runners, many who are part of local running clubs. To learn more about this year’s pacer team click here. They all apply to help runners reach their goals by running at a consistent pace to reach finishing times ranging fom 1h 30m to 2h 30m. Here are just some of people that were helped by the pacing team.
