September Customer Events
September had no intention of winding down – instead, it cranked the dial even higher. Between rural triathlons, urban obstacle courses, and a world championship showdown on the Riviera, every weekend delivered something bold. Meanwhile, athletes battled wind, water, and walls, while Sportstiks kept the details clear and the action flowing.

Lindahls Tri Series

September 6th, 21st and 27th, 2025
Three races, three weekends, and one thrilling month for French triathlon. The 3rd round of the Lindahls Pro + Triathlon series kicked off in Quiberon on September 6–7, where athletes battled Atlantic winds and coastal roads in a true Brittany test. As the month continued, the Audencia-La Baule Triathlon (20–21 September) took centre stage – an iconic Loire event dating back to 1988. Drawing thousands each year and has become a Grand Prix staple, with youth races, relays, and mass participation all alongside the elite showdowns.
Wrapping up with the grand finale in Cabourg (27–28 September), combining the Lindahls Pro+ Triathlon Series Final with the French Para Triathlon Championships. A sea swim in the English Channel, a flat-but-windy bike, and a run along the Marcel Proust promenade made Cabourg as scenic as it was demanding.
Throughout the series Sportstiks supplied tri sets and tattoos across all three rounds, giving athletes and organisers consistency in a packed month of racing at every level.

S.O.S Triathlon

September 7th, 2025
After France’s coastal battles, the S.O.S Triathlon brought a complete change of scenery. An eight-stage wilderness odyssey in the Adirondack Mountains. Athletes began with a 30-mile cycle before ditching the bike and heading into a sequence of four trail runs and three open-water swims across mountain lakes. Once the bike leg ended, competitors were fully unsupported, carrying all they needed between stages, making it as much about planning and resilience as raw endurance. This race is a cult classic, famed for its point-to-point format and tough, beautiful terrain.
Our temporary tattoos were crucial for athlete identification, staying put through cold lakes, rocky trails, and the dramatic uphill finish in Lake Placid

The ROC Triathlon

Attention then shifted to the UK for The ROC Tri England – one of the countries most unique endurance tests. The ROC isn’t just a triathlon – it’s a mountain mission. Athletes opened with a 1.5 km swim in Lake Windermere before heading out on a 45.5 km bike ride through fast, technical roads. Then came the centrepiece: an 8.75 km mountain run up Scafell Pike (England’s highest peak) and a furious descent back down. Once back at transition, competitors remounted for another 45.5 km ride back toward Windermere before finishing with a 1 km trail run through forest to the line. It’s a format that pushes body and mind in equal measure, with two bike segments framing the mountain challenge.
Sportstiks tri sets and tattoos kept athletes looking sharp throughout, while gold tattoos marked those completing the full ROC Trilogy, a badge of honour few can claim.

Ventouxman

Midway through the month, athletes faced a true icon: Ventouxman. There’s no escaping the Giant of Provence. The day starts with a 2 km swim in Lake Monteux before the 90 km bike, crowned by the legendary climb of Mont Ventoux – a road etched into Tour de France history. Followed by the run that tests weary legs with rolling roads around the foothills. For athletes, it’s part triathlon, part pilgrimage.
Sportstiks tri sets and tattoos stood up to scorching heat, shifting winds, and pure altitude, giving athletes visibility as they tackled one of the sport’s most mythical ascents.

Oceanman France transformed the Mediterranean waters off Banyuls-sur-Mer into a battlefield of stamina and skill. Distances ranged up to 10 km, with competitors navigating choppy seas, shifting currents, and the sheer mental grind of long open-water swimming. French Olympian Marc-Antoine Olivier gave the event extra sparkle, especially as he rocked Sportstiks tattoos that held strong stroke after stroke.
For organisers and spectators, those tattoos provided clarity in the chaos of the open sea, turning the blue into a stage for endurance theatre. Our temporary tattoos were colour-coded by country and even carried national flags, giving spectators a clear way to spot and cheer for their athletes as the field spread across the open sea.
