July Customer Events
July didn’t hold back. From icy waterfall swims in the Swedish mountains to sprint races in coastal towns and obstacle-course chaos in Maine, this month took us across the globe supporting triathlons, ultra-swims, and full-on muddy madness. Each event had its own flavour, its own fans, and of course – its own athletes to keep looking sharp and properly ID’d. Here’s a look at where Sportstiks showed up and showed off this July…

July 5th, 2025
Swedeman AB is one of Sweden’s most iconic long-distance triathlons, taking athletes through a punishing 3.8 km swim in the cold, clear waters of Lake Åsnen, followed by a challenging 180 km bike course through scenic forests and rolling hills, and finishing with a full marathon run that tests every ounce of endurance. Known for its tough terrain and variable July weather – including sudden rain or strong winds – the event demands mental toughness and impeccable race strategy.
At Swedeman, athlete ID is crucial not only for smooth race logistics but also for safety, as the course covers remote areas and multiple transitions. Sportstiks supplied custom tri-sets, race bibs, and car window stickers that helped organisers and volunteers keep track of athletes across the sprawling route. Our durable bibs stood up to the unpredictable weather and long hours, while the window stickers boosted sponsor visibility beyond the course, supporting the event’s community vibe. From start to finish, Sportstiks ensured clear, reliable ID that helped athletes, volunteers, and race directors stay connected and focused on performance.

July 5th, 2025
The Ultra Ebre Marathon Swims take on the mighty Ebro River in Catalonia, challenging swimmers with distances ranging from a 5km to a tough 30.8km marathon swim. The route runs through stunning landscapes of vineyards, rolling hills, and tranquil riverbanks, making it as breathtaking as it is demanding. Swimmers face strong currents, variable water temperatures, and the mental endurance needed to keep going for hours, all while navigating an ever-changing natural environment.
Athlete visibility and ID were critical in this event, where safety and accurate tracking can mean everything. Sportstiks supplied temporary tattoos designed to withstand long hours in the water, ensuring athletes remained clearly identified throughout their epic swims. Our durable tattoos helped race officials monitor swimmers and kept sponsor branding visible. For athletes, volunteers, and race directors alike, Sportstiks’ reliable ID solutions provided peace of mind, letting everyone focus on conquering the river.

Challenge Roth is the stuff of triathlon legend a full-distance race featuring a 3.8 km swim in the warm, clear Rhine–Main–Danube Canal, a flat but fast 180 km bike course famous for its long straightaways and tough wind sections, and a marathon run that challenges athletes with rolling hills and unpredictable July heat. The sheer scale and intensity of the event attract thousands of competitors and spectators alike, creating an electric atmosphere that pushes every athlete to their limits.
At an event this demanding, athlete identification needs to be rock-solid. Sportstiks supplied durable triathlon tattoos and seat post stickers that held up flawlessly through the race. Our athlete ID solutions helped race directors, volunteers, and photographers quickly and accurately spot athletes among the thousands, keeping transitions smooth and sponsor logos visible in all the epic moments. Whether it’s powering through the heat or speeding down the course, clear ID was vital – and that’s exactly what Sportstiks delivered.

Trade Winds Triathlon returned to the sunny shores of Miami with a popular sprint-distance race that attracted a diverse mix of athletes – from first-timers to seasoned competitors. The event featured a 750 m swim in calm ocean waters, a fast 20 km bike course along scenic coastal roads, and a 5 km run through palm-lined paths and beachfront parks. The warm weather and vibrant atmosphere made it a favourite stop on many athletes’ calendars.
Given the event’s pace and the large field, clear athlete identification was essential to ensure smooth transitions and accurate tracking. Sportstiks supplied triathlon tattoos that stayed put through swim, bike, and run, helping volunteers, officials, and photographers instantly identify athletes on the move. July 12th, 2025
The next stop in the Dutch Tri Series was Hlmrmeer. With sprint, Olympic, and one-third distance races on offer – as well as team relay and DTS Team Competition formats – there was something for everyone. Athletes swam in the crystal-clear lake, cycled flat and fast routes of 20–60 km, and looped back around the water for 5–15 km runs, all under warm July skies.
It wasn’t just a great day of racing – it was a well-organised community event, with plenty of atmosphere, shaded tents, and lakeside views for spectators. And with so many race formats taking place at once, athlete ID had to be spot on. That’s where Sportstiks came in.
We supplied customised tri sets and race bibs, helping athletes stay identifiable throughout the race. Our bibs ensured volunteers, photographers, and spectators could easily identify athletes and keep transitions running smoothly.
World Triathlon Mixed Relay

July 12-13th, 2025
The heart of Hamburg came alive as 20 nations took to the cobbled streets and sparkling Inner Alster for two days of high-speed racing at the Mixed Relay World Championships. Each team of four athletes (two men, two women) completed a super‑sprint triathlon – 300 m swim, 7 km bike, 1.75 km run before tagging their teammate, with the elite relay unfolding in front of thousands of fans and global TV audiences.
The racing was tight and electrifying. Team Australia edged out France and Germany in a thrilling finish, with less than 10 seconds separating the podium. A fast, flat city-centre course made for nail-biting transitions and dramatic comebacks.
In an event where every second counts and international visibility is sky-high, athlete identification had to be crystal clear. Sportstiks supplied race number tattoos for all elite and open athletes, helping officials, volunteers, and broadcasters instantly recognise competitors throughout the course. The tattoos stayed secure and sharp across all four disciplines (swim, bike, run, and relay tag) ensuring flawless performance and sponsor visibility under pressure.

The Accuro Jersey Triathlon returned to the waterfront of St. Helier on Sunday 13 July 2025, offering racers from around the world a stunning coastal course and a full range of distances – from Intro and Super‑Sprint through to Olympic-standard and Team Relay formats. Standard distance athletes took on a 1,500 m open‑water swim, followed by a 40 km bike with around 253 m of elevation, and a 10 km run looping through the island’s parks and promenade paths.
It’s a real showcase of the sport, with over 2,000 participants spanning elite competitors, juniors, charity teams and first-timers. With such variety in the field, clear and flexible athlete ID was key and that’s where we came in. We supplied fully customisable tri‑sets and temporary tattoos, including colour-coded elements to help differentiate between event formats. Whether racing as a solo athlete, in a relay, or as part of the Super-Sprint or Youth categories, every participant had clear, event-specific ID that helped organisers, volunteers, and photographers identify them instantly. It made transitions smoother, race-day coordination easier, and gave the whole event a polished, professional feel from start to finish.

July 19th, 2025
The fifth edition of Triathlon Abénaquis welcomed over 360 athletes to the shores of Lac Abénaquis for a sunny day of swim, bike, run. Based in the small town of Sainte‑Aurélie, the event offered a welcoming sprint-distance course (750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run), plus shorter “Découverte” and youth formats for first-timers and families. The flat route made for fast times and calm transitions, with the whole event wrapping around the local stadium, lakeside beach, and quiet country roads.
With multiple categories running back-to-back, clear athlete ID was essential. We supplied custom tri-sets and temporary tattoos. The result was a smooth, well-organised race day that looked as good as it ran, with athletes fully kitted out and race-day photos looking sharp across the board.
Last Man Riding – Burgandy

July 19th, 2025
Rolling through the vineyards of Burgundy, Last Man Riding isn’t just about distance – it’s about community. Organised by a French cycling association with a mission of solidarity and endurance, the event brings together riders of all backgrounds for a day of scenic, social cycling with a purpose. Participants tackled around 100 km of gently undulating countryside, weaving through picturesque villages and sunlit wine country roads.
We supported the event by supplying tri-sets for all participants, helping organisers identify riders throughout the route and giving cyclists an easy way to display their numbers without fuss. The tri-sets added a layer of visual organisation to this feel-good event, supporting the community atmosphere while still keeping things smooth and safe on the road.
Tough Mountain Challenge

July 26th, 2025
Forget thinking you’re in for a trail run – the Tough Mountain Challenge is a wild 5K obstacle course that stretches over rugged, wooded alpine terrain. Racers tackle more than 20 brutal and creative obstacles – from knee-deep mud pits and water blasts from snowguns to tire walls, steep climbs, hay towers, foam tunnels, crawling under barbed wire – all designed for maximum sweat, grit, and laughs
Each year the event draws around 3,600 adventurers, broken into 37 heats, all chasing mud-coated glory and bragging rights, not podiums. It’s about surviving the mud and obstacles and celebrating with a cold brew at the finish line.
In a race where visibility and safety matter, athlete identification can’t get lost in the muck. Sportstiks supplied temporary tattoos that were tough enough to stick through sweat, mud, showers of icy water, and over dozens of obstacles. These tats helped volunteers, photographers, and race staff spot participants in real time, keeping transitions safe and branding intact through the entire course. When chaos and dirt reign supreme, clear athlete ID is the game-changer – and that’s exactly what we delivered.
