Nevis to St Kitts
Cross Channel Swim
On Saturday 6th of April the annual Nevis to St Kitts cross channel swim took place in the Caribbean Sea 70m west of Antigua. The event is 4km open water swim, starting from Oualie Beach and heads across the Narrows to the finish at Cockleshell Bay.
300 international swimmers took part in the event across the clear waters for the 23rd year.

Swiss Triathlon
National League
On Sunday the 14th of April the Swiss Triathlon National League in Wallisellen took place. The competition series is for elite athletes in Switzerland. Leana Bissig won the first female National League race of the season and Maxime Fluri was the first make winner of the event.

Aqua Warriors
Halong Bay
On Sunday the 14th of April the annual Aqua Warriors duathlon took place in Halong Bay, Vietnam. The event consists of a 3km swim followed by a 15km run. The running route was around the beach road of Tran Quoc Nghien which offered particpiants stunning views of Ha Long Bay.
The tournament attracted about 1,500 athletes from all over the world.

Bermuda Timing Systems (BTS)
RenaissanceRe & BNG Run for the Arts
Bermuda Timing had a few events on this month. One being the RenaissanceRe event that took place on 14th of April which is a 5/10 mile challenge. The event was a mix of a 10 and 5 mile run and a competitve and non competitive 5 mile run/walk. Also the BNG Run for the Arts 5k which took place on 21st of April, which is a 5k run or walk. People could sign up for a competitive or non competitive race with participants anywhere from the ages 10+.

World Triathlon
Wollongong Cup
The Wollongong World Cup is a triathlon based in the coastal setting of Wollongong, Australia. The event took place on the 20th April and the course consisted of a 750m swim, followed by a 20km cycle and ending with a 5km run. Luke Willian won the men’s race in front of a home crowd while two-time Junior World Champion Tilda Mansson picked up her third World Triathlon Cup win.

UK Running Events
Inflatable Series
The inflatable 5k is an on going series touring around the UK running from April to October. It is the UK’s largest unique inflatable obstacle course race and every weekend they take on a new location. It is a family fun event for everyone.

Nevis Triathlon Club
The Wee Tri
Nevis Triathlon Club hosted their first triathlon event The Wee Tri this year on the 21st of April providing a local sprint-distance triathlon for those anting to give a triathlon a go. The event consited of a 400m swim followed by a 16km bike ride and ending with a 5.4km run along Glen Nevis.

Garelli
Cannes International Triathlon
The Cannes International Traithlon took place on the 28th April. 2100 triathletes hit the water for the 11th edition of the Cannes Triathlon by Skoda. The male winner for Triathlon L was Simon Viain and teh female winner was Marion Sicot. From the Xtrem Triathlon L the winners were Simon Gallot (male solo), Eva Nougier (female solo) and your duo winners were Les P’tits Gones.
