January 2025
January may be a quiet month for some, but for the world of endurance racing, it was anything but. Athletes kicked off 2025 with grit, determination, and a whole lot of sweat. And right there with them? Sportstiks – providing the race bibs and tri-sets that kept runners and triathletes easily identifiable, no matter how extreme the challenge.

Bermuda Triangle Challenge

January, 17th – 19th 2025
The Chubb Bermuda Triangle Challenge, held from January 17th to 19th, 2025, was nothing short of legendary – three races over three days on one stunning island. As Bermuda’s biggest annual sporting event, it draws elite athletes, local runners, and international competitors eager to test their endurance in paradise.
The weekend kicked off on Friday evening with the Butterfield Mile, a high-energy, high-speed sprint through the streets of Hamilton, complete with an electric atmosphere. Saturday morning brought the BF&M 10K Run & Walk, treating runners to scenic views and rolling hills. Then came the grand finale on Sunday – the choice between the PwC Bermuda Marathon or Half Marathon, where runners tackled the famous Bermuda sunshine.
Completing all three races didn’t just mean sore legs – it also meant serious bragging rights, four custom finisher’s medals, and a finisher’s jacket (because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love race day merch?). And after crossing that final finish line? Runners got to celebrate in true island style – with live entertainment, complimentary Bermuda Craft Brewing beer, and Gosling’s rum cocktails. Because hydration is important, in all its forms.

Longbridge Backyard 100 Ultra

What’s better than running a marathon? Running way, way more than a marathon, on repeat, until there’s only one person left standing. That’s exactly what went down at the Longbridge 100 Backyard Ultra on January 17, 2025, in East Sussex. This race isn’t about speed – it’s about survival. Runners had to complete a 4.167-mile loop every hour, on the hour, and keep going until everyone else quit.
Set in the stunning South Downs National Park, the course threw chalky trails, gravel paths, and a lovely little 623 feet of elevation per lap at competitors – just to keep things interesting. The race kicked off at 6:00 PM, meaning runners had to battle fatigue, darkness, and the ever-present question of “Why am I doing this to myself?”
And where does Sportstiks come in? Right on the front of those brave runners! We supplied our custom race bibs – because when you’re 20 hours deep into a race, slightly delirious, and running on pure determination (and probably caffeine), you still need to be identifiable. Our bibs held up through sweat, rain, and whatever else the ultra-gods threw at them.

Challenge Israman

If you’re looking for a race that pushes limits and leaves no room for weakness, Challenge Israman in Eilat, Israel, is it. Held on January 31, 2025, this triathlon is infamous for its course – starting with a swim in the Red Sea, followed by a bike climb through the desert mountains, and finishing with a run under the Israeli sun. It’s a true test of endurance, attracting some of the toughest triathletes from around the world.
